My last 2 dentists both had Porsches. When I asked why they pronounced it Porsh, I was told that was the way Americans pronounce words. I informed them it was a German name/word and that German words were pronounced with the ‘e’ at the end of the word/name.
Then sent them to the Porsche video site for a refresher course.

Dentists, or former top executives at 2 different major race tracks in the US.
What I’m saying is I know a guy who’s been at both IMS and COTA who can’t say it right.
